DESCRIPTION: American Waltham Watch Co. CONDITION: good running order (winds, sets and ticks), the movement is in good condition with a couple of spots of oxidation on ratchet wheel and a few specks of dirt elsewhere. The solid gold case is in good condition with a small ding in case band, monogram on rear cover and presentation on cuvette "Wilson W. Buchanan July 29-1906". The dial has several hairlines between 10 and 1 and another at 7 on the outer chapter ring. Wilson W. Buchanan, son of Alexander G. and Sarah R. (Schwalenberg) Buchanan, was born July 29, 1885, thus this watch was given to him on his 21st birthday. He died in Jan., 1966, age 80.
